SES ASTRA signs distribution agreement for ASTRA2Connect in Albania.

Starsat equips Albanian schools with satellite-based broadband connection.

Luxembourg, 9 August 2010. – SES ASTRA, an SES company (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG), announced today that it has closed a distribution agreement with Starsat to market its satellite broadband access ASTRA2Connect in Albania. Starsat has been serving customers with satellite-based broadband and data solutions since 2003. It has added ASTRA2Connect to its portfolio of services to offer its customers a reliable satellite broadband solution at competitive prices.

Wales gets high-speed internet from space.

28 July 2010 - Households and businesses in even the remotest areas of Wales can receive broadband with download speeds of up to 4Mb/s now, thanks to a funding scheme announced by the Welsh Assembly and innovative satellite technology from SES ASTRA.
